  1. I learned a lot about leadership through my time serving the military. Good leaders truly cared about the people they were leading. I think that is the main thing I remember from my leadership situations. I saw a few good ones and a lot of bad ones. This sounds like an interesting series.

    • I love your observation about good leaders being the ones who care about the people they are leading! There isn’t a leadership technique in the world that can overcome the problem of a leader who is more concerned with their own success than with the development of their team. Thanks for joining the discussion!

This is great! You are on to something I’m hungry for. How to lead well and be other-focused (without losing yourself.) I’m looking forward to learning from you.

    • There is definitely a balance required. Being other focused happens most effectively when I’m confident of who I am and who I was created to be. I’m glad to hear that leading well is stirring your thoughts!

  3. I never really thought about it before, but you’re right. Leadership is about developing others. I always joke when I take on leadership roles at church that I like to work my way out of a job.

I'd love to hear your thoughts....
